New York International Ballet Competition brought its 25th anniversary celebration to a close with the announcement of this year's prize winners and a performance by participants in this year's and past NYIBCs.

Dances Patrelle, 20th Repertory Season, will be presented April 16–19, 2009 at The Kaye Playhouse at Hunter College (68th Street between Park & Lexington Avenues) NYC. The diverse and exciting program celebrating 20 years of creativity will include 2 dramatic ballets by Francis Patrelle: a World Premiere as well as a past dance classic staged by Cynthia Gregory.

The Hong Kong Ballet’s Debut at Beijing’s National Theatre a Resounding Success

The Hong Kong Ballet (HKB)'s Beijing Tour 2009, which concluded last week at the National Centre for the Performing Arts, was a resounding success. The Hong Kong Ballet was the first troupe to take to the stage of the National Centre for Performing Arts' Opera House this New Year and captured the hearts of the audience with the timeless classic, Swan Lake.
